We heard a buzz a little while back about this and upon conducting some further research realised the mutterings were in fact true…
We are two students who managed to claim back their charges effectively. Decided to set up the Website to help others (esp. students) claim their charges back.
For a first site it looks pretty damn good, we’re very pleased with it anyway!
About a month ago, Dave got back just over £1000 and two weeks ago I got back a little over £900 not bad, meant my overdraft has now halved!
It’s £3 for the letters, that cost represents the Website hosting, buying the URL, the hard graft put in to the Website and the research into all of the charges as well as checking the legal wording.
Credit where credit is due I had nothing to do with the interest calculator though. Dave knocked this up; it works out how much interest you would have earned from a specified date if the money had been sitting in your bank account, not lining some Fat Cat’s pocket.
Just do it… you have nothing to lose, you can even text to pay…. simplicity itself!
