With my request I have enclosed a cheque to the sum of £10 which is to cover the maximum statutory charge in order for me to obtain my personal data. If this data is not provided I will except instead all of my statements from the last six years from the date as of this letter. I understand that statements on their own are not covered by the Data Protection Act 1998, yet I’m not requesting the statements per se, but the charges, which I’m entitled to by law.
