I hereby request that a repayment of all the default charges I have incurred over the last six years are repaid in to my account. I do not believe that these charges reflect the true cost to (Insert bank name) of going into unauthorised overdraft.

In total I believe a repayment to the sum of £ (Insert total charge) total charge is due. I believe I have been unlawfully deprived of the money and therefore ask that you repay me the full amount. Please find a full schedule of the charges with this document.

Please note.

In a court of law repayment would include the statutory rate of interest (8%). In order to make for a faster repayment I have not taken this into account when claiming my charges back. However, please be advised if this does go to court I shall also be seeking repayment for the interest due in addition to the charges.
